CONCORD, N.C. -- Coker College scored single runs in the fifth inning and the sixth inning to pull out a 4-2 victory over Anderson University in the first round of the 2006 CVAC Tournament Friday at Liske Park. Anderson, 19-31 overall, will play St. Andrews Presbyterian in an elimination game Saturday at 9 a.m. Christan Morabito and Amy Shelley led Coker's eight-hit attack with two hits apiece. The highlight for Anderson was a two-run homer by Kayla Williams in the first inning, her 17th home run of the season. The Lady Trojans managed just three hits and just one hit after the first inning. Anderson has lost five straight and six of its last seven.
