HARTSVILLE, S.C. – With the SAC Championship lurking just around the corner, The No. 30th ranked Anderson University men's tennis team picked up a huge win over conference foe Coker, 5-4 on Saturday afternoon at the Coker Tennis Courts.
With the win, the Trojans improve to 12-8 overall and 6-4 in SAC play while the Cobras drop to 11-10 overall and 4-6 in conference action.
Coker claimed a 2-1 advantage in the doubles portion with AU's Ignacio Bidegain and Preston Morpeth defeating Felix Schweyer and Dominic Allan, 8-4, for Anderson's lone doubles point.
Anderson regrouped in singles action winning 4-of-6 matches to set the final at 5-4.
With the win, the Trojans finish the regular season in 5th place.
Anderson will begin SAC Championship action as they travel to the #4 seeded Newberry Wolves on Wednesday.
