ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis faced a 2-1 deficit following the doubles portion, but stormed back winning all six singles matches to claim the, 7-2, victory over South Atlantic Conference opponent Tusculum on Thursday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.
In the doubles portion, Ignacio Bidegain/Preston Morpeth defeated Jorge Cervantes/Tomas Kmetko, 8-1, keeping the Pioneers from running the table in doubles play.
In singles action, the Black and Gold were relentless winning all six matches to set the final score at 7-2.
Anderson will remain at home to host SAC foe Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday. First-serve is slated for 2 p.m.
