Men’s Tennis Wins Hard Fought Battle with Queens; 5-4

ANDERSON, S.C. – Anderson University men's tennis continues its solid play defeating South Atlantic Conference opponent Queens, 5-4, in a hard fought battle on Sunday afternoon at the AU Tennis Complex.

The Trojans took a 2-1 advantage after the doubles portion with Tomas Depiaggio and Hufelder Duarte defeating Joel Dunlap and Julian Bosch, 8-7, and Ignacio Bidegain and Preston Morpeth defeating Andor Vas and Kasper Rolfsen, 8-2.

Juniors Tomas Depiaggio and sophomores Preston Morpeth and Ignacio Bidegain secured the final three points to claim the 5-4 victory.

Anderson travels to nonconference opponent Erskine on Monday. First-serve is slated for 1 p.m.
