HARROGATE, Tenn. – The Anderson University men's tennis team suffered its second straight loss falling, 6-3, to South Atlantic Conference opponent Lincoln Memorial at the LMU Tennis Complex.
The Trojans fell behind 2-1 after the doubles portion only picking up a point at the No. 3 flight. Ignacio Bidegain and Preston Morpeth defeated C. Ernstberger and Xavier Marti, 8-6, in a hard fought battle.
Bidegain and junior Hufelder Duarte earned the final two Trojan points in singles action. The Black and Gold battled hard with all but one remaining singles matchups going three-sets.
Anderson returns home on Saturday to square off with SAC foe Newberry. First serve is slated for 1 p.m.
