WILSON, N.C. -- Travis Holloman had three hits, three RBI, and scored three runs to lead Barton to a 10-4 victory in the second game and a sweep of Anderson University in a CVAC doubleheader Saturday afternoon. In the first game, Kevin Brousseau had four hits, four RBI, and scored three runs to lead the Bulldogs to a 9-2 victory. Barton improves to 22-30 overall and 9-13 in the CVAC, while Anderson drops to 25-28, 12-11. In the first game, Barton snapped a tie at 3 with a four-run fourth. The big hit in the inning was a three-run homer by Holloman. In the second game, Barton scored three in the first and three in the third to jump out to a 6-0 lead. Brousseau hit a solo home run in the third and a two-run homer in the eighth. Blair Carson was 3-for-4 for Anderson in the first game. No Anderson player had more than one hit in the second game.
