DUE WEST, S.C. -- Tony Graham's lead-off home run in the top of 10th inning lifted the Anderson University past Erskine 11-10 in a CVAC game Friday afternoon. The Trojans improve their record to 12-16 overall and 5-5 in the CVAC, while the Flying Fleet fall to 14-10 overall and 4-6 in the CVAC. The Trojans had a 10-8 lead going into the bottom of the ninth inning when the Flying Fleet rallied on an RBI double by Shelton Cisson and a run-scoring single by Ryan Price to tie the game at 10. After Graham's solo home run, the Fleet had runners on first and second with two outs but a pop out ended the game. The Flying Fleet took the lead in the bottom of the first inning on a two-run home run by Matt Schneider. The Trojans rallied in the bottom of the second to score two runs on three hits to make it a 3-2 game. B.J. Smith's RBI single highlighted the inning. The Flying Fleet had three more two-run home runs, each time to tie the game -- Bryan Fogle's tied the game in the fourth, Chas Anthony's tied the game in the sixth, and Keith Hill's tied the game in the seventh. The Trojans got a solo blast to left field by John Mac White in the third inning to increase their lead to 4-2. Brandon Sheriff picked up the win for the Trojans by after allowing two runs and three hits in two innings. The loss went to Jake Williams. Williams worked three innings and allowed three runs on five hits. The Trojans were led offensively by Graham, who was 1-for-3 with game-winning home run and two RBI, and by Smith, who was 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs scored. Kyle Lewis drove in three runs for Anderson. The Fleet was led by Schneider, who was 3-for-5 with two RBI, and Hill, who was 2-for-4 with two RBI. The Flying Fleet outhit the Trojans, 17-13.
