The Trojans trailed 5-1 through two and a half innings but rallied for the second straight day to pull out a come-from-behind victory. After Hall got the Warriors in order in the seventh, Anderson took the lead for good in the bottom half of the inning. With one out, Thompson and McCauley singled. With two outs, Owen came to the plate and launched a three-run homer to left to give the Trojans an 11-8 lead. Hall received a big assist from Taylor to end the Southern Wesleyan eighth. With runners on first and second, Skinner hit a flare into right center field that Taylor snagged with a diving catch to end the inning. The Trojans pushed across three insurance runs in the eighth on consecutive singles by Jason Jones, Justin Sterling, John Mac White, and Smith, and sacrifice flies by Thompson and McCauley. Hall, 1-2, allowed two hits, walked two, and struck out one in three innings.
