ANDERSON, S.C. – After reaching the NCAA Tournament for the fifth straight year and the eighth time in school history last November, Anderson University head volleyball coach Todd Hay has announced the Trojans' spring 2023 schedule.

"After 3 ½ months, it will be good to get back on the court against someone besides ourselves," said Hay. "It has been a good off-season to this point, but I know the players are ready to play. We will be working on new rotations and some players will be assuming larger roles on the team. Athletes never stop learning and these upcoming dates will be very valuable experiences for our team going forward."

AU wrapped up last season by winning 11 of its' final 14 regular-season matches and finished the year with a stellar 21-8 record – becoming the 11th team in program history to post at least 21 victories in a single season - and saw four players earn All-South Atlantic Conference honors at the conclusion of the regular season. 

The Trojans' spring slate opens Saturday morning (March 18) with the Black and Gold playing host to Conference Carolina-members Erskine and Emmanuel, along with NCAA D-I member USC Upstate in a series of two-court matchups at the Abney Athletic Center.

A week later, the action moves to Charlotte with a mix of NCAA D-I and D-II teams, including Furman, College of Charleston, Appalachian State, Furman, Winthrop, USC Upstate, UNC Wilmington, Queens, Davidson, Western Carolina, Charlotte and Wingate competing on four courts in the Queen City, before the Trojans return to the Upstate for a visit to Wofford on Wednesday, March 29.

Less than a week later, AU closes out the spring by traveling to former South Atlantic Conference-member Queens for multiple matches at the Royals' Curry Arena.
