CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Queens University of Charlotte women's basketball team won its 10th game of the season Saturday night at the Grady Cole Center. Queens (10-8 overall/9-4 Conference Carolinas) beat Anderson University (8-10 overall/8-6 Conference Carolinas) 60-53 in the Royals homecoming game. Anderson's leading scorer was Keana Boyd with 17. Alexa Neal chipped in 13 points for the Trojans. Genia Holbrook had 13 rebounds and Kirsten Peterson had 11 rebounds. Shakendra Hendricks led Queens with 10 points. The Lady Trojans return to action Wednesday when they travel to Limestone. Anderson won the first meeting 66-57.
