SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- Alexa Neal scored 23 points and Keana Boyd added 18 points to lead Anderson University to a 74-56 victory over Converse in a Conference Carolinas game Friday night. Neal, was was 11-for-16 from the field, also had six assists. Anderson's Genia Holbrook was the game's leading rebounder with 12. Anderson, 2-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference, built a 23-6 lead to open the game and led 37-23 at the half. Anderson shot 57 percent from the field while limiting Converse to 43 percent. Sydney Brown led Converse with 13 points. Alaina Smith followed Brown with 11. Anderson's next game is Dec. 13 at home against Newberry.
