MISENHEIMER, N.C. -- Keana Boyd scored 28 points to lead Anderson University to an 83-66 victory over Pfeiffer in a Conference Carolinas game Thursday night. Anderson, 8-7 overall and 8-3 in the conference, has won four straight and five out of its last six. Pfeiffer falls to 2-12, 2-7. Boyd, a senior from Newberry, was 8-for-18 from behind the arc and also had four assists. Anderson made six treys in the first half on its way to building a 35-25 halftime lead. Shanice Wilson added 15 points and Alexa Neal chipped in 12 points for Anderson. Devona Knight led Pfeiffer with 21 points. Allegra Shanee Powell added 12 for the Falcons. Anderson shot 42 percent in the second half and 39 percent for the game. Pfeiffer failed to shoot 40 percent in either half. Anderson returns home to face Conference Carolinas leader Barton Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
