ANDERSON, S.C. - Members of the Anderson men's and women's track and field teams are scheduled to compete at the 2016 Pepsi Florida Relays, which will be hosted by the Gators at the Percy Beard Track, Thursday - Saturday.

On the women's side, junior Olivia Gardner will run in Friday's Steeplechase, while sophomores Christopher Burton and Caleb Stephenson will open AU's participation by competing in Thursday's 200 meter dash.

The duo of sophomores Mason Hazel and Ben Boerma will wrap up Thursday's action by running in the men's 5000 meter run. Burton, Stephenson, sophomore T.J. Robinson and freshman Brandon Kauer will compete in Saturday afternoon's 4x100 meter relay.

Gardner and Hazel each hold the indoor school record in the 5000 meter event after posting stellar times at Grand Valley State Big Meet in mid-February, with Gardner earning Honorable Mention All-South Atlantic Conference honors in the 3000 meter Steeplechase a year ago. Hazel won the 5000 meter run at the 2014 Bob Pollock Invitational.

Burton owns the AU indoor record in the 200 meter dash, while Stephenson claimed seventh in the men's 400 meter run five weeks ago at the UCS Invitational. The team of Robinson, Stephenson, Kauer and Burton finished fourth in the finals of the 4x100 meter relay in a time of 41.49 two weeks ago at the Charlotte 49er Classic.

In his last outing at the Wingate Invitational, Boerma finished seventh in the 1,500 meter run and captured fourth place in the UCS Invitational 5000 meter run in a time of 15:52.10.
