Track and Field Wraps up Competition at Georgia Tech Invitational

ATLANTA – The Anderson University men's and women's track and field teams wrapped up competition at the Georgia Tech Invitational, Saturday afternoon at the at the George C. Griffin Track.

Junior Christopher Burton, who owns the second-fastest time in NCAA D-II this season (20.84) finished sixth in the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 21.33. Freshman Jordan Anderson crossed the finish line in in 45th place in a time of 22.47.

Junior Caleb Stephenson paced the Trojan contingent in the men's 400 meter dash by finishing 32nd in a time of 50.29, while Anderson (50.44) was 34th and junior Rashod Monts (50.65) finished 35th.

Freshman Jasmine Barmore (58.95) finished 27th in the women's 400 meter dash and claimed 56th in the women's 200 meter dash in a time of 26.16.

A trio of Trojans runners are scheduled to compete Friday at the 51st Annual Hillsdale (MI) College Gina Relays.
