Trojans Finish 11th At BMW

CAMPOBELLO, S.C. -- The Anderson College men's golf team finished 11th in the 15-team BMW Intercollegiate at the Links O' Tryon Tuesday. USC Aiken fired a 287 in the second round to finish at 584 and hold off Mobile for the team title. Mobile (590) also shot 287 in the second round. Host North Greenville (592) was third. Anderson shot rounds of 317-306 for a 36-hole total of 623. Clay Williamson led the Trojans in the final round with a round of even par 72, the lowest score for Anderson this spring. Williamson finished the tournament with a two-round total of 152. Anderson's other three scores in the second round were: Denton Moore 75, Andrew Corley 78, and Brad Eskierka 81. Aaron Jessee of Milligan, Clint Smith of USC Aiken, and Ryan Sturma of Spring Hill all tied for the individual title at even par 144.
