Trojans Struggle In First Round At Panama City

PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- The Anderson College men's golf team is in 14th place after the first round of the Outback Steakhouse Invitational at the Hombre Golf Club Monday. Anderson shot a 335 in the first round to fall to 14th place in the 15-team field. Columbus State shot a 294 to take the first-round lead. USC Aiken is second at 297, and Georgia College and State University is third at 303. Anderson was led by Brad Eskierka with a 77. The Trojans' other three scores were: Denton Moore 83, Andrew Corley 87, and Nick Kirby 88. The second round will be played Tuesday morning.
