Hash Earns Division II Bulletin Honorable Mention All-America Honors

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University's Chandler Hash continues to garner postseason accolades, as the standout senior guard has been named Honorable Mention All-America by the Division II Bulletin, as announced by the publication on Tuesday.

Hash most recently tossed in 12 points and grabbed five rebounds to help the West All-Stars to a 121-109 win past the East All-Stars in last week's National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) All-Star Game at the Ford Center in Evansville, Indiana.

Following a stellar three-year career, the sharpshooter earned NABC First-Team All-District accolades and Daktronics All-Region First-Team honors after being named First-Team All-South Atlantic Conference for the second consecutive year. Hash, the South Atlantic Conference Tournament MVP, helped lead Anderson to its fourth NCAA Southeast Region Tournament appearance in five seasons, while leading the conference and ranking fifth in the nation in scoring at 24.3 points per game. His 778 total points was tops in NCAA Division II this season and marks the second-highest single-season total in league history.

The Greer, S.C. native concluded his career in third place on Anderson's all-time scoring list with 1,537 career points and his career-high 44 points in the Trojans' SAC Tournament semifinal appearance ranks seventh in the league all-time for points scored in a single game.

Hash also claimed the SAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year honor for men's basketball for the second straight year in mid-March.
