ANDERSON, SC--The Lady Trojans softball team returned home to Smethers Field with a chip on their shoulder Thursday, and they took all of it out on visisting Claflin University, as AU took both games of the day's double header 9-1 and 10-0, each in 5 innings. After dropping 3 straight to non-conference opponents Georgia Southwestern and Mars Hill, the Lady Trojans got it going early, grabbing 5 runs by the bottom of the third in game 1. AU was led by sophomore Elisa Sebastyan, as she smashed a homerun over the Smethers Fence to put an early lid on the afternoon. The Lady Trojans will take this burst of momentum on the road this weekend as they do battle with Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer, NC.
