Trojan Men’s Track and Field Inks Talented Trio for 2014-15

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University head track and field and cross country coach Randy Greer has announced the addition of three prep standouts for the 2014-15 campaigns.

Joseph Siegwald (Mount Pleasant, S.C./Palmetto Christian Academy), Torrance Robinson (Rock Hill, S.C./Northwestern H.S.) and Mason Hazel (Summerville, S.C./Pinewood Prep), a brother of current AU women's standout, Sydney Hazel, have all inked national letters of intent to compete for the Trojans in cross country and/or track and field next season.

Palmetto Christian Academy
Hometown: Mount Pleasant, S.C.
Awards and Honors: Claimed third place in the 100 meters at the 2013 South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) Championships … Won the 200 meter title, the long jump and the triple jump at the 2013 SCISA Championships.

Torrance (T.J.) Robinson
High School: Northwestern
Hometown: Rock Hill, S.C.
Awards and Honors: Finished 10th in the 200 meter at the South Carolina High School Class 4A, Region 3 Championships.

Mason Hazel

Pinewood Prep
Hometown: Summerville, S.C.
Awards and Honors: Runner up at 2013 SCISA Cross Country Championships … Runner up in the 1600 meter at the 2013 SCISA Track Championships … Finished third in the 1600 meter at the 2013 Region III-AAA SCISA Championships … Garnered third place in the in the 800 meter at the 2013 Region III-AAA SCISA Championships … Placed fourth in the 3200 meter at the 2012 SCISA Track Championships.
