CLEMSON, S.C. - The Anderson University track and field teams completed the two-day Bob Pollock Invitational, hosted by Clemson on Friday and Saturday at the Tigers' Indoor Complex.

"We had a pretty good weekend," said Anderson head coach Randy Greer. "We are three-quarters of the way through our indoor season and this should set us up nicely for our final indoor meet in Winston-Salem."

More than 20 schools competed in the two-day event, including the host Tigers, N.C. State, Pittsburgh, Coastal Carolina, Charleston Southern and S.C. State.

Freshman Olivia Gardner captured ninth in the seeded 3,000 meter run in a time of 11:02.01, while junior Sydney Hazel finished 16th in the seeded one mile run with a time of 5:27.34.

Sophomore D'Yandra Morris garnered 20th in the shot put with a toss of 11.28 meters and junior Brooklyn Watt earned 23rd with a distance of 10.94 meters.

The combination of Gardner, Hazel and freshmen Bari Robinson and Sherin Malone finished fourth in the distance medley with a time of 13:21.14.
