Men’s Indoor Track and Field Ranked 12th in Southeast Region; Women Fourth

NEW ORLEANS - The Anderson University women's indoor track and field team moved up four spots and is ranked fourth in the Southeast Region in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll.

The women's squad, previously ranked eighth in the region, joined top-ranked Wingate and No. 6 Mars Hill as representatives from the South Atlantic Conference. Mount Olive checked in at No. 2, with Clayton State just ahead of the Trojans in third.

King University (fifth), Limestone (No. 7), Belmont Abbey (eighth), North Greenville (No. 9) and Lees-McRae rounded out the top 10.

The Trojan men will look to move from the 12th spot in the regional rankings when both teams resume action at the UCS Invitational on Feb. 14-15 in Winston-Salem, N.C.
