Doctor Provides Winning Point To Lead AC To Title

SUMTER, S.C. -- Karan Doctor of Anderson College won his third set at No. 2 singles to give the Trojans the fifth point they needed to defeat Lees McRae 5-3 in the 2004 CVAC Men's Tennis Championship. Doctor, who defeated Felipe Castanheira, 6-4, 3-6, 6-2 for the clinching point, was named the tournament's most valuable player. The tournament title was Anderson's second in the last three years.
