Men's Tennis Team Falls To USCS

SPARTANBURG, S.C. -- South Carolina Spartanburg won four of the five completed singles matches in straight sets to beat Anderson College 7-1 Thursday afternoon. The Rifles also swept the doubles. The closest doubles match was at No. 2 where David Gustafsson and Ali Mandour defeated AC's Gabor Boczonadi and Sid Sudhakar, 9-7. AC's lone winner was Karan Doctor at No. 2 singles. Doctor defeated Ben Ureta, 6-2, 6-2. AC's next match is Sunday when the Trojans play host to Lees-McRae in an early CVAC showdown. Doubles -- Ben Ureta-Diego Sist (USCS) d.
