Men's Tennis Team Loses To Liberty, Clemson

CLEMSON, S.C. -- The Anderson College men's tennis team opened its spring schedule Friday by losing two matches to a pair Division I teams. Anderson lost to Liberty 5-0 then dropped a 5-0 decision to Clemson. In the Liberty match, AC lost all three doubles matches, two by 9-8 scores, to lose the doubles point then lost four singles matches, two in three sets and a third one because of an injury to Gabor Baczonadi in the third set. In the Clemson match, the Tigers won four of the five singles matches in straight sets. Liberty 5, Anderson 0 Doubles -- Priit Pihl-Luiz Rino (L) d.
