Men’s Soccer to Host Goalkeeper Training Summit

ANDERSON, S.C. - Anderson University men's soccer will join with select goalkeeper coaches from across the world and host its second annual goalkeepers' summit on Sunday, May 18th on the campus of Anderson University.

Former AU Head Coach John Murphy, who was recently hired as the Associate Head Coach at Boston College, will demonstrate techniques he utilized coaching professional goalkeepers worldwide for over 15 years. Learn to train yourself with Coach Murphy's goalkeeper routines and training rhythms. Field players will be available to create added training opportunities and more game-like conditions.

DOC's, head coaches, assistants or goalkeeper specialists who want to pick up more on this specific position can attend for free with a fully paid camper. Please note that the techniques and overview will be for advanced levels of play.

The $90 fee includes payment for one goalkeeper and one field player. Each goalkeeper is required to bring one field player (teammate), a ball per participant, and water container.
