CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Shane Burroughs scored one goal and had two assists to lead Queens University of Charlotte to a 3-1 victory over Anderson University in a CVAC match Tuesday afternoon. With the victory, Queens, 10-4 overall and 7-2 in the CVAC, moves into first place in the league standings. The Royals are now one point ahead of second-place Coker. Anderson now stands at 5-9. 2-6. Matt Herbstritt scored at 10:58 to give the Royals a 1-0 lead. That was the only goal scored in the first half. Queens increased its lead to 2-0 at 56:23 with a goal by Burroughs.
