ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson men's golf team posted an overall score of 320, while Erskine carded a team score of 308 in head-to-head competition at the par-72, 7,002 yard layout at Cobb's Glen Country Club on Friday afternoon.

In the annual competition for the Beville Cup the Flying Fleet earned a point in the battle for possession of the trophy, with AU leading Erskine by a point (6.25-5.25) with four points remaining (women's golf, tennis and softball).

Trojan junior Arran Setro led the Anderson effort with a 3-over-par 75, while junior Sean Shelton fired a 7-over-par 79 and senior John Moore carded an 82. Freshman Rob Warren posted an 84 and CJ Messana notched an 85.

Erskine sophomore Ford Blanchard earned the low score of the afternoon with a 1-under-par 71, while freshman Tyler Lucas carded a 76. Sophomore Brad Thorne fired a 79 and junior Jeremy Carrell posted an 82. Freshman Cameron Ford rounded out the Flying Fleet effort with an 87.
