PINEVILLE, Ky. - Junior Arran Setro carded an even-par two-day total 144 to finish tied for third, as the Anderson men's golf team wrapped up its fall schedule with an 11th-place finish at the State Farm Intercollegiate, hosted by Lincoln Memorial at the 7,037 yard par-72 Wasioto Winds Golf Course.
Setro (71-73=144), who shared the lead following Monday's opening round, carded 13 pars over the two-day event and finished tied with Tusculum's Nick York. LMU senior Jamie Chapman captured the individual crown following a six-under par 66 in the final round and finished three shots ahead of King College's Richard Powell.
Junior Sean Shelton (78-72=150), who led the Trojans with 15 overall pars, trimmed six strokes off Monday's first round to move into an eight-way tie for 18th. AU's Payden Parrish (80-75=155) finished 11-over and shared 45th. Sophomore CJ Messana (82-80=162) notched a tie for 65th, while Rob Warren (90-78=168) slashed 12 strokes from the first round and closed the event in a tie for 74th.
King College (293-289=582) claimed a two-shot win over the LMU White Team (301-283=584). The Trojans (311-298=609) trailed Lenoir-Rhyne (297-310=607) and North Greenville (303-304=607) by two shots and finished five strokes ahead of the LMU Gray team (312-302=614).
