The 16 teams played 36 holes at The Palencia Club's par 72, 6,944 layout, with Anderson (320-310=630) notching the third-best team improvement from the first to second round play.
Armstrong Atlantic (285-300=585) and Barry University (294-291=585) are tied for first, with Newberry (294-300=594) sitting in third, nine strokes back. Anderson trails ninth-place Lander (306-312=618) by 12 shots and leads the Flagler "B" by 20 strokes.
Shelton (80-75=155) is in a four-way tie for 32nd heading into Tuesday's final round, while junior Arran Setro (80-77=157) is two shots further back, tied for 37th. Sophomore CJ Messana (84-77=161) carded a 17-over-par and is in 50th, with newcomer Rob Warren in a tie for 51st after posting a 164 on the day. Payden Parrish rounded out the Trojan contingent with a 176.
The tournament will conclude on Tuesday.
