Men’s Golf Finishes in a Tie for Fifth at Lincoln Memorial Invitational

PINEVILLE, Ky. - The Anderson University men's golf team wrapped up its fall schedule by finishing in fifth place Tuesday afternoon at the Lincoln Memorial Fall Invitational, hosted by LMU at the par 72, 6,825 yard Wasioto Winds Golf Course in Pineville, Ky.

AU posted the third-best improvement of the 16 teams in the field, chopping 11 strokes off its first-round effort and jumping past four teams that were ahead of the Trojans at the start of Tuesday's final round, while also tying Lenoir-Rhyne and the Lincoln Memorial Blue team.

Junior John Moore (72-73=145) led the Trojans for the second consecutive day. Placing eighth, eight strokes off the pace set by Brevard's Kim Koivu.

Sophomore Arran Setro (79-73=152) shaved six shots off his first-round scorecard to move into a tie for 36th, while senior Chase Epting (77-76=153) wrapped up the two-day event in a tie for 45th.

Sophomore Sean Shelton (82-74=156) notched the largest improvement of the Trojan contingent, sharing the 54th spot.
