NEW ORLEANS - On the strength of strong performances against top-notch competition at Clemson and USC Upstate, the Anderson women's cross country team is ranked fourth in the Southeast Region in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association's (USTFCCCA) poll.

The Trojans opened the season by capturing ninth at the Eye Opener in Spartanburg, then finished seventh at the Clemson Invitational, with both events featuring several ranked Division I squads.
