CLEMSON, S.C. - The Anderson men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Tiger Paw Invitational, hosted at Clemson's Indoor Track and Field Complex on Friday.
Senior Will Byars brought home a 10th -place finish in the weight throw, with a toss of 15.79 meters, while Sophomore Nathan Plank notched a tie for 17th place with a distance of 14.66 meters.
On the women's side, sophomore Jill Baxter placed 19th in the high jump with a height of 1.50 meters, while sophomores Savanna Keese (13.37 meters) and Brooklyn Watt (13.00 meters) finished 24th and 28th, respectively.
Baxter, Madison Guest, Sydney Hazel and Rachel Westberry teamed
together to place 18th in the distance medley in a time of
13:26.23.
Day Two of the Tiger Paw Invitational will begin Saturday morning,
with the men's pole vault scheduled for 10 a.m.
