WINGATE, N.C. – No. 35 Anderson women's tennis (14-4, 9-3 SAC) fell to No. 15 Wingate (16-3, 11-1 SAC) on Sunday afternoon at the WU Tennis Complex.

Due to the threat of inclement weather, the singles portion was played first with the double portion only being played, if needed.

The Bulldogs were able to win four of the six singles matches to defeat the Trojans.

Anderson will play nonconference opponent USC Sumter on April 19^th, before playing in the South Atlantic Conference Tournament as the fourth-seed.
