SPARTANBURG, S.C. – Anderson University women's tennis (4-0) earned its championship segment opening win, 6-1, over nonconference opponent Converse (1-1) on Friday afternoon at the Sally Abney Rose Complex.
The Trojans opened the match, winning the doubles portion to claim the early one-point lead.

K.Robeson/A.Braithwaite defeated M.Prinz/L.Martins 7-6 (7-5)
V.Borda/L.Alvarez Tello defeated S.Giaraldo-Jimenez/L.Estrada 6-0
The Black and Gold went on to earn five of the six singles matches to move to 4-0 overall on the season.

Anderson will host nonconference opponent North Georgia on Feb. 11th. First-serve is slated for 2 pm.
