CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Anderson University women's golf team recorded a sixth-place finish at the annual Dana Rader Intercollegiate, hosted by Pfeiffer College at the par 72, 5,845-yard Ballantyne Resort on Tuesday.
After wrapping up Monday's first round tied for sixth with Erskine, the Trojans (325-331=656) finished up the two-day event alone in sixth, 19 strokes behind Mount Olive and three shots ahead of Queens.
Freshman Natalie Feder (82-79=161) trimmed three shots from Monday's first round, finishing 23rd, while fellow freshman Sarah Timms (82-83=165) finished in a tie for 28th. Sophomore Katie Eskew (83-83=166) stayed consistent and finished one shot further back in a tie for 30th - moving up eight spots overall.
Seniors Kalyn Johnson (82-86=168) and Laura Buyers (79-89=168) finished in a tie for 37th.
The Trojans get back on the links March 26-27 at Wingate University's Ralph Hargett Memorial, which will be played at the Olde Sycamore Golf Plantation in Charlotte, N.C.
