UVA WISE, Va. – Anderson University women's basketball (15-8, 15-4 SAC) used a solid team effort to defeat South Atlantic Conference opponent UVA Wise, 76-62, on Saturday afternoon at the Prior Center.

"Defensively we made some little mistakes in the first half but we responded in the second half with a great third quarter," stated Barbaree.

"I am looking forward to playing at home this week for two games, including our annual Play4Kay fundraiser game next Saturday," added Barbaree.

Anderson place two player's in double-digit scoring with graduates Shameka McNeill scoring a game-high 24 points, while Samantha Michel netting 11 points for the Trojans.
