ROCK HILL, S.C. –Anderson University graduate student Shameka McNeill was named The South Atlantic Conference AstroTurf Women's Basketball Player of the Week for games played in the twelfth week of the 2021-21 season.
McNeill, helped lead the Trojans to a 2-0 record this past weekend. McNeill scored 28 points, had three steals, five three-pointers and five rebounds in their win over Tusculum while garnering 36 points, seven three-pointers and five rebounds in a win over Coker. Overall, the Charlotte, N.C., native averaged 55.8 percent from the floor, 32.0 points per game and 5.0 rebounds per game. This is McNeill's second consecutive Player of the Week honor this season.
