ANDERSON, S.C. - The Trojans will host South Atlantic Conference opponent Queens on Saturday. First pitch of the doubleheader is slated for 2 p.m. at the AU Softball Complex.

SERIES HISTORY
Overall Record - Queens leads 16-14 (1999-2010 and 2014-2015)
• Saturday's matchup mark the third doubleheader with both teams as members of the South Atlantic Conference, as all previous meetings were as members of the CVAC or Conference Carolinas. The overall series dates back to the 1999 campaign, with Queens reeling off seven straight wins during the mid-2000s. The overall series took a three-year hiatus after Anderson joined the SAC for the 2011 campaign. The Trojans blanked the Royals twice in 2014, 8-0 and 3-0, in Queens' inaugural season in the SAC with Anderson again claiming both games of the doubleheader a year ago.

• The Royals split their last outing on Wednesday with Wingate.
• The pitching staff has a combined ERA of 3.87 while opponents are hitting .299 on the season.
• Ashton Whitaker is leading the Royals at the plate with a .400 average. Whitaker has hit four doubles, one triple and one home run.
• Taylor Rosenbalm has posted a .361 batting average with nine doubles, one home run and has stolen 11 bases on the year.
