Sunset Beach, N.C. - Jacob Yoon carded a seven-over par 79 to lead the Anderson University men's golf team as the Trojans find themselves in a tie for 11th with the host Bears at the end of day one of the 2010 Lenoir-Rhyne/Myrtle Beach Golf Intercollegiate at the Sea Trail Golf Resort on Monday.
Yoon ended the opening round tied with nine other golfers in 10th, with a trio of teammates just one shot further back. Sophomore Chase Epting and a pair of freshmen, Austin Carney and Reed Kerwin all posted opening-round 80s and sit in a tie for 41st heading into Tuesday's final round. Another newcomer, Arran Setro carded a firs-round 81 and is tied for 47th.
The teams are back on the course for final-round action on Tuesday.
