Norwood Leads Trojans In First Round At BMW

SUNSET, S.C. -- Curtis Norwood shot a 75 and Denton Moore had a 76 to lead Anderson College in the first round of the BMW Intercollegiate Monday at the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards. The Trojans shot a 314 in the first round on the par-71, 6,800-yard Vineyards course and are in ninth place in the 20-team event entering Tuesday's second round at the Cliffs Valley course. Anderson's other scores on Monday were: Jonathan Ferguson 81, Brad Eskierka 82, and Kyle Owings 82. Huntingdon is the leader after the first round at 298. Barton and Belmont Abbey are tied for second at 299, and host North Greenville is third at 302. The first round individual leader is Alex Martin of Belmont Abbey with a 1-under 70. Martin was the only player in the field to break par.
