FORT MILL, S.C. -- Kyle Owings shot a 3-under 69 and Andrew Corley shot a 1-under 71 to lead Anderson College to a 286 team score and a 13-shot lead after the first round of the Top-Flite/Rafferty's Tournament Sunday at the Regent Park Golf Club. The 286 team score is a single-round school record for AC. AC's other two scores were Denton Moore with an even-par 72 and Brad Eskierka with a 74. AC leads St. Andrews Presbyterian (299) by 13 shots. Host Queens University of Charlotte is third at 300, Tusculum is fourth at 303, and Pfeiffer is fifth at 306. The final round will be played Monday.
