NEW LONDON, N.C. -- The Anderson College men's golf team shot a 307 in the second round to finish in ninth place in the 22-team Palmer/Old North State Invitational Wednesday at the Old North State Club. AC finished the 36-hole event at 613. The Trojans were led in the second round by Kyle Owings, who shot 75. Andrew Corley and Brad Eskierka both shot 77, and Denton Moore shot 78. Guilford, which entered the final in second place, won the tournament. USC-Aiken finished second.
