Track Teams Compete at Tiger Invitational

Clemson, S.C. - The Anderson Mens and Womens Track Teams competed at the Tiger Invitational in Clemson Saturday. Four indoor records were broken. Women - Whitney Bishoff led the women's team with a fifth place finish in the 3000 meter run. Bishoff's time of 10:48.94 is a new school record. Durecelle Campbell broke her own record in the weight throw. Campbell finished seventh with a throw of 11.80 meters. Sophomore, Lynne Flint ran a season best in the mile run. Flint finished in tenth place with a time of 5:32.35. Lauren Sloan finished sixth in the shot put with a throw of 10.83 meters. Men - Alex Jordan led the men's team. Jordan set a school record in the mile run, and finished in third pace with a time of 4:23.38. Nate Parson also set a school record in the 3000 meter run. Parson finished in eighth place with a time of 8:59.33. Robbie McCracken finished third in the shot put with a throw of 12.11 meters. Both teams will travel to The University of the South this Saturday.
