Track Team Sets Two School Records At Sewanee

SEWANEE, Tenn. -- The Anderson University track and field teams set three school records at the University of the South Indoor Meet Saturday. Katelyn Rodgers finished first in the high jump and set a school record with a leap of 5-3.75. Durecelle Campbell finished second in the weight throw and a school-record toss of 33-8.50. Aaron LaGarde finished third in the triple jump with a school record distance of 47-9.25. LaGarde also finished second in the long jump with a leap of 22-7.25. Anderson took a partial squad to the event -- four women and three men. The AU women finished seventh, and the men finished eighth. Other top performances for Anderson were: -- Thomasnea Smith (long jump, second place, 17-3.25; triple jump, fifth place, 32-6.50) -- Gleynnda Craig (shot put, seventh place, 27-7.50; weight throw, third place, 32-6.25) -- Dave Berry (shot put, fifth place, 38-2.25; weight throw, third place, 40-2) -- Derrike Black (weight throw, eighth place, 28-7.50)
