GREENSBORO, N.C. – Anderson University women's tennis (7-2) defeated nonconference opponent North Carolina A & T, 4-0, to win its fourth straight match on Monday afternoon at Dudley High School Courts.
The Trojans won the No. 1 flight, while narrowly losing at No. 2. The deciding doubles match was a forfeit in the favor of Anderson.
Anderson picked up the first singles point, by forfeit while Val Borda defeated Trinity Oliver, 6-1, 6-3 and Anna Greer clinching the match with a, 6-0, 6-0, win over Marlene Pineda.
The Trojans return to action on Saturday when it host South Atlantic Conference opponent Mars Hill. First serve is set for 2 pm.
