ROCK HILL, S.C. – Anderson University women's tennis players Anna Greer, Laura Alvarez Tello and Catherine Blouin earn South Atlantic Conference postseason honors, highlighted by Blouin being named Freshman of the Year.
Blouin, a freshman from Augusta, Ga., posted 14-7 singles and doubles records playing mainly No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles and is ranked No. 56 nationally in singles play. With her help, the Trojans are currently ranked No. 43 nationally. Blouin was also named to the first team singles and third team doubles teams.
Tello teamed up with Blouin earning third team All-SAC. The duo posted a (14-7, 7-5 SAC) record helping the Trojans return to postseason play.
Greer, a native of Boiling Springs, S.C., earned second team All-SAC after posting a (12-7, 7-4 SAC) in the No. 2 position.
