CLEMMONS, N.C. -- Charlene Reid shot a 76 to lead Pfeiffer to a 315 team score and a six-shot lead after the first round of the 2008 Conference Carolinas Tournament at the Salem Glen Golf Club. Pfeiffer leads Belmont Abbey (321) by six shots. Anderson University is in third place in the six-team field at 343, while Limestone is in fourth at 353. Reid leads Carley Warrington of Belmont Abbey and Lina Elmsater of Pfeiffer by one shot. Brittany Beltran of Pfeiffer is in fourth place at 78. Anderson was led in the first round by Sophie Dembroski, who is tied for sixth overall with an 81. Anderson's other three scores were Lindsay Vallo 83, Kim Hausman 87, and Hayley Parks 92.
