Lady Trojans Finish 10th At Catawba

SALISBURY, N.C. -- The Anderson University women's golf team shot 339 for the second consecutive day to finish 10th in the Patsy Rendleman Invitational Tuesday at the Salisbury Country Club. Belmont Abbey shot 313 in the final round to pass Pfeiffer and take the team title. The Crusaders finished with a 36-hole total of 633, three shots better than Pfeiffer (636). Wingate (638) was third, Newberry (649) was fourth, and host Catawba (663) was fifth. Anderson's Sophie Dembroski finished in a tie for 13th in the individual standings. Dembroski fired a 79 in the second round to finish the tournament with a total of 160. Anderson's other three scores in the second round were: Kim Hausman 86, Hayley Parks 87, and Elizabeth Belanger 87. Brittany Beltran of Pfeiffer matched par 72 in the second round to finish at 3-under 141 to take the individual title. Kelsey Babos (72-76) of Catawba was second, and Ashton Ingram (75-74) of Belmont Abbey was third.
