ANDERSON, S.C. - The game notes for the Anderson University women's basketball team's home matchup with South Atlantic Conference opponent Catawba have been released.
With AU's scheduled home game against Mars Hill on Wednesday washed away due to inclement weather in the Upstate, the Trojans look to get back into the win column as they welcome Catawba to the Abney Athletic Center. In Anderson's last contest, the Trojans suffered a 91-73 setback to SAC-leading Wingate last Saturday. With the loss, AU enters the weekend with a 12-10 overall record and an even 8-8 mark in league play.
Catawba comes into Saturday's game with an identical 8-8 mark in league play as the Indians and Trojans are in a three-way tie with Coker for sixth-place in the league standings. The Indians are winners of two of their last three games, but are coming off an 85-61 setback to Tusculum last Saturday.
Anderson seeks a season split with Catawba, after dropping a 67-59 decision to open the 2014 side of this season's schedule.
The game will be broadcast on FOX SPORTS Radio 1280 AM, WANS and will also be available on the internet at www.wrixfm.com and the Anderson web site at www.autrojans.com, along with video and live stats. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m.
