@AUWBB Coaches Take On #Chillin4Charity

ANDERSON, S.C. - The Anderson University women's basketball coaching staff cooled down during a hot South Carolina afternoon by having their players pour cold water over their heads, as they participated in #Chillin4Charity on Friday in efforts to raise money for the Play4Kay Foundation.

After head coach Jimmy Garrity was challenged by Penn State assistant coach Itoro Coleman, Garrity and his staff took part in the effort that is sweeping the nation. The challenge was started by University of Arizona head women's basketball coach, Niya Butts, in early June. Since then, women's basketball coaches from all across the nation have been getting splashed for the worthy cause.

Joining Garrity was assistant coach Mike Merrill and volunteer assistant Amanda Parris as the Trojans carried out three water coolers filled with water to pour on their coaches.
